3 Medium sized apples
1 Tablespoon of sugar
Half a teaspoon of cinnamon
1 Tablespoon of lemon juice
1.) Peal and cut up the apples into medium sized pieces.
2.) Place the apple pieces into a small pot\skillet and pour in just enough water to cover the apples. Place the skillet onto the stove that has been turned on to medium heat.
***Make sure that you do not pour in too much water otherwise the apple sauce will turn out to be a very runny apple soup rather than sauce.
3.) Add in the sugar, lemon juice and cinnamon and stir.
4.) Let the apples cook until they become very soft.
5.) Using a potato masher, mash up the apples until you have your acquired consistency. I personally like the apple sauce to be very smooth and fine, but I am well aware that some people love their apple sauce to include pieces.
