Ingredients: ***Makes 2 pizzas***

2 packages of active dry yeast

2 cups of warm water

4 teaspoons of regular sugar

2 teaspoons of salt

4 tablespoons of olive oil

4 cups of whole wheat flour (fine grind)

1.) Add the water, yeast and sugar into a large bowl and stir around a few times until the mixture is mixed together.

Wait for about 5 minutes until the yeast has activated and turned into a foamy substance.

2.) Add the salt and olive oil while slowly mixing the yeast mixture. Then, add the flour until the mixture turns into a dough.

3.) Take the dough out of the bowl and knead it on a floured surface for a minute until all the ingredients are well distributed through out the dough and a ball has formed.

4.) Put the dough into a bowl that has been brushed with olive oil. Then, turn the dough around in the bowl  a few times in order for the entire dough to be lightly coated in olive oil. This will permit a hard unnecessary crust to form. Then cover and place the dough on a warm spot, such as next to, or on a radiator for an hour until the dough has doubled in size. Make sure that there are no drafts, otherwise the dough will not rise.

5.) Place you pizza stone inside you oven and preheat it to 500 for about 30 minutes. If you don’t have a pizza stone you can just use a backing sheet that has been turned upside down.

6.) Take the risen dough out of the bowl and cut it in half. Use one half and roll it down until it becomes round and a few inches smaller than your pizza stone.

7.) Take out the pizza stone, or baking sheet and sprinkle it with corn meal, or flower. Place the rolled out dough onto it and top with your favorite toppings.I used some tomato sauce, cheese and corn for the first pizza and some tomato sauce, broccoli, bell peppers and corn for my second pizza. One side is also coated with tuna since my mom still eats fish sometimes. Make sure that you leave a little 1 inch border on your pizza, so that you can easily eat it later.

8.) Place you stone, or baking sheet into the oven, then turn the temperature down to 400  and let it it cook for about 10 minutes.

9.) Carefully take out the pizza and leave aside for 5 minutes until it has cooled down a bit and serve.

Enjoy ;D
