This very simple recipe is one of my most favorite side dishes in the world. It isn’t only healthy, but also a different variant to serving and making chickpeas.

2 cups of chick peas (either canned or dried, I used dried)
a pinch to half a teaspoon of salt
a pinch of pepper
1 tablespoon of oil
1 tablespoon of lemon juice (instead of vinegar)
1.) If you are using dried chick peas soak them overnight.
2.) Drain the soaked chickpeas an cook them until they are nice and soft on the instead. (Skip if using canned)
3.) Let the chick peas cool for a a couple of minutes, before adding all the other ingredients and serve!
